Project Manager

Position Status: Closed

Our Project Managers work closely with our consultants, engagement managers and clients to insure on-time and on-budget delivery of mission critical enterprise network solutions. Our Project Managers play a key role in guaranteeing that our active client projects are meeting all defined and agreed upon milestones. Additionally, our project managers work closely with our clients to professionally manage mission critical IT and technology projects. You should have following qualifications/ skills:

  • Progressive consulting, customer IT, our vendor experience of 3-5 years in technology related project management role
  • Strong ability to fully understand customer requirements
  • A strong customer focus with an ability to establish strong relationships

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage internal and external (customer, 3rd party, etc) resources

Network Engineer

Position Status: Closed

Network Engineer needed to support LAN/ WAN operation of customers in Windows/ UNIX/ Netware environments. You will be responsible for supporting the network infrastructure, participating in the planning and development of network systems, and working with technicians and managers. Good network background/ MCSE & CCNP preferred. Salary based on experience. You should have following qualifications/ skills:

  • Setting up Local and Wide Area Network from ground up
  • CISCO, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, UNIX, Netware experience
  • Design skills and high-level troubleshooter
  • Experienced in LAN/ WAN technologies, Microsoft 2000/ NT, HP Open View
  • AIX/UNIX, ATM, ISDN, Frame Relay, SNA and networking protocols/ topologies
  • Documentation Skills
  • Good Communication Skills

Desktop / Network Support Technician

Position Status: Open

Assist IT Manager in the support of all network services and user support. Work with Windows 2000/ XP/ Vista workstations and WK2/W2003 Servers. Assist users with regard to hardware/software problems and documenting user requests. Serve as an initial point of contact for troubleshooting hardware/software, PC and printer problems. Assist in daily maintenance and special projects for a WAN/LAN environment. Must have the ability to interact with users and all levels of management. Should be able to work independently as well as under direct supervision.

  • Desktop hardware and software support. Repairs hardware components and updates software/applications to assure the maximum uptime and productivity.
  • Help desk support. Assists users in resolving problems with either hardware/ software related issues and connectivity problems.
  • Interface with remote users supporting their VPN connections. Answers questions and resolves problems relating to remote connectivity for remote users and those traveling.
  • Configuring new laptops and workstations to our specifications. Setup of new equipment to be used by either local users or remote users.
  • Assisting in the monitoring of daily server performance and backups. View server event log files to determine if any action is necessary as the result of an alert.
  • Applying fixes and upgrades to desktop, laptops and network systems. Perform upgrades and patch fixes upon the release of notices from vendors.
  • Monitoring and supporting various IT components such as printers, faxes and network peripherals. Inspect network components regularly for warning status and take action to perform required maintenance or repairs.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the IT Manager. Complete tasks assigned by the IT Manager and document work performed in the appropriate system or device folder.

Education:
High school diploma and some college required. IT certification is a plus.

Experience:
2-3 years experience in IT.

Traveling:
This position requires travel to client locations as and when required.

Specific Skills:
W2K, WinXP, Server 2003, MS Office, MS Exchange, WAN/LAN methodology, IIS, topology, and software configuration. Must have an understanding of TCP/IP, subnets, VPN and routing. Must have an excellent command of the English language and must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
